Sharp TV Remote Control, developed by AYYAN, is a free Android app that allows you to control your Sharp LED and Smart TVs. This app provides all the functionalities of the plastic remote and also offers WiFi connectivity for Android Smart TV casting. The app saves your last-used challenger remote for easy access and provides vibration ON/OFF options in the drawer menu. However, it is important to note that this app is not affiliated with the official Sharp Company.
To use this app, you need an IR blaster to control your Sharp TV. If you are not familiar with IR blasters, you can install the app to check the remotes and contact the developer via email for assistance. For WiFi connectivity, your smartphone and Android TV must be on the same network. To use it, simply connect your phone with the same WiFi device as your Smart TV. For normal connectivity, press the power button and select YES or NO upon the response until your Sharp TV responds.
